Special Collections & Archives

COVID-19 UPDATE: While the library is closed, the archives team is busy working on remote tasks, like reviewing oral history transcripts, editing finding aids, and creating much needed documentation for our department. We may be able to help with some research questions remotely. The best way to reach us is qc.archives@qc.cuny.edu.

Queens College Special Collections and Archives (SCA) is the repository for over 5,000 linear feet of college records, special collections, and rare books. SCA works closely with the Queens College Graduate School of Library and Information Studies to provide meaningful, hands-on experience for the next generation of archivists. In keeping with the College’s motto “Discimus ut Serviamus” (We Learn so that We May Serve), our goal is for the collections to serve as a basis for research, community engagement, teaching, and exploration. We serve folks of all kinds, from faculty and students, to local activists, to international scholars – so please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
