Friday, May 29 at noon: Green-Wood Cemetery has lots of upcoming online programming. Today’s offering is “Zooming in on fungi: learning how to identify common mushrooms:” (https://www.green-wood.com/event/zooming-in-on-fungi-identify-common-mushrooms

Saturday, May 9 and Sunday, May 10 at 11AM: Lincoln Center’s Weekly Ballet Break is inspired by Vivaldi’s Four Seasons. Led by New York City Ballet dancer Ralph Ippolito, this will be great for young ones!
Monday, May 11 at 5:30PM: Lincoln Center brings the San Francisco Ballet to our homes in a performance of Prokofiev’s Romeo and Juliet.
Thursday, May 21 at 7:30PM: The Metropolitan Opera will be releasing Giacomo Puccini’s Turandot.
Thursday, May 21: The Australian Dance Theatre releases Microfilm as part of their ADAPT program. You can sign up to be invited to the whole program.
Friday, May 22 at 7:30PM: The Metropolitan Opera presents Mozart’s classic comedic opera, Don Giovanni.
Wednesday, May 27 at 5PM: NYC Ballet’s Wendy Whelan takes audiences of all ages and levels through classic repertoire. See it on the NYCB Instagram.
Streaming: Alfred Molina stars as Mark Rothko in Red, a dramatization of creating the murals for New York’s Four Seasons Hotel. Available until May 27th.
Streaming: Shakespeare’s Much Ado About Nothing, recorded during Shakespeare in the Park 2019. Available through May 27th.
Streaming: Each evening, beginning at 7:30PM, The Metropolitan Opera presents a free encore performance from its Live in HD series.

Wednesday, May 6 at 4PM: Lincoln Center at Home’s Concerts for Kids has Latinx ensemble M.A.K.U. Soundsystem. Fun sounds and effects incoming
Thursday, May 7 at 2PM: Live with Carnegie Hall presents several artists and collaborations “bringing audiences together, no matter where they are.”
Thursday, May 7 at 4pm: Bill Frisell performs the music of Rev. Gary Davis at The New York Guitar Festival.
Sunday, May 24 at 11AM: Soul Science Kids bring a blend of fun grooves and science straight to your screen.
Friday, May 29 at 2:30PM: Imogen Heap will be broadcasting a live set from her home!
Saturday, May 30 at 3PM: The Kaiser Chiefs will do an exclusive set for Royal Albert Hall.
Ongoing: Wednesdays at 8PM: Each week, Dave Matthews Band will stream a concert from their archives.

Saturday, May 9 at 6AM: Rise and shine for The Great Jelly of London! Paul Jennings’s classic children’s tale of a man’s quest to create an enormous jelly mold of the Royal Albert Hall! Read by actor Samuel West. Prefer to sleep in? The show will also be available after its premiere.
Wednesday, May 20 at 12PM: Brian Teare is featured at Poets House. He will be reading from his award winning book Doomstead Days.

Thursday, May 21 at 7PM: The Babycastles collective hosts WordHack Online: performances and talks exploring the intersection of language and technology. Tonight’s presenters are Lillian Yvonne-Bertram and Jorg Piringer.

Saturday, June 6: The Bronx is reading! The Bronx Book Festival presents a full day of online events.
Ongoing: Thursdays at 7 PM: Music legend (and QC Libraries staff favorite) Dolly Parton reads a book from the Imagination Library over at Good Night With Dolly. Great for all ages!

Thursday, May 21 at 7PM: Incoming Queens College President Frank Wu, in conversation with Tenement Museum president Morris Vogel.
Tuesday, May 26th at 2:30PM: The Queens Historical Society investigates the importance of the census going back more than a century. Learn how to use the census to track down ancestors and see its impact on our past and future.
