As the year 2020 comes to a close, I’m reflecting on the year before with the publication of this Annual Report. The bulk of this report reflects on months before the COVID-19 pandemic redefined a generation, effectively spanning June 2019 to May 2020. But 2019 seems like eons ago now, considering what has occurred this calendar year. Alas we learn from the past — in this case from time before the pandemic and time during its throes.

Makerspace staff and advisors are plotting a post-pandemic future, including ‘remote learning’ initiatives, fundraising goals, and partnerships with external communities and groups. All exciting developments that will hopefully be expounded upon in future annual reports. (Future reports will be published during the academic Summer — sometime in June.)
