Electronic Resources Librarian
Alyssa began working in the Queens College Library as an undergraduate student, and has worked in many different areas of the library, including the bindery, media center, reference workroom, information assistant, cataloging, serials, and acquisitions departments.
Alyssa received her undergraduate degree and M.A. in Sociology from Queens College. After working in the Queens Library prior to college and at the Benjamin Rosenthal Library during college, she decided to attend Queens College for her MLS in the Graduate School of Library and Information Studies. After the she went on to receive a second masters degree in Urban Studies/Affairs. In addition to her Librarian duties, she is the liaison to the Linguistics and Communication Disorders and the Urban Studies departments.
