Biography

Aleksandra is an Adjunct Acquisitions Librarian at Queens College. She holds a Master of Library Science and a Post Master's degree in Librarianship from Queens College Graduate School of Library and Information Studies.

She has been working at Queens College since 2010 and has experience in various library departments including acquisitions, information, research, and instructional services.

Her interests tend toward collection development, information seeking and access, information literacy instruction, reading motivation techniques, storytelling, early literacy development and assessment tools, and research design.

In addition to her library degrees, Aleksandra graduated with a master's degree in music performance and a master's degree in music education. She has had opportunities to associate with venues such as Carnegie Hall, Julliard School, Manhattan School of Music, and School for Strings. Aleksandra is a member of the Golden Key International Honour Society and Lehman Symphony Orchestra.​
