Composer Florence Price has been a pivotal figure for Dr. Ege, both as a performer and researcher. Her most recent and second album, Fantasie Nègre: The Piano Music of Florence Price, was released earlier this year. Her debut album also features the music of Price, as well as other notable female composers. Four Women: Music for Solo Piano by Price, Kaprálová, Bilsland, and Bonds was released in 2018.
