Volunteering

The Library welcomes volunteers from the community. Anyone 16 years or older who has a work permit and is able to work at least 10 hours a week will be considered for work in a department of the Library, depending on need and the volunteer’s qualifications. Preference is given to those with library experience.

Internships

The Queens College Libraries offer a very limited number of unpaid internships to graduate students enrolled in Library and Information Science programs. Internships are limited to students receiving academic course credit. All prospective student candidates should seek approval from their graduate departments prior to applying for the internship positions.
